Movie Special Effects

7/20/2003 - I've always wanted to work on special effects in Hollywood. These days, PC's are powerful enough that you can do them in the comfort of your own home. After quite a bit of time researching, reading, learning, and trying some things out for myself, I now want to see what I can do with the equiment I have at home. Below are my attempts at doing some home-made special effects. Enjoy.

Fan Film: Spirits of the Force

3/13/2004 - Fellow Phoenix Fan Force member Joel Cranson was making a Star Wars fan film... I BEGGED to help with it (lol) I have finally started doing something I've always wanted to do... post production and special effects. Lightsaber Duel Test

After realizing I could do some simple cloning, I realized... how cool would it be to not only make a lightsaber duel, but to duel YOURSELF. This is my first test to try out a few techniques to see if it would be possible. I really didn't put any time into choreography as you can tell, I just set up the camera in the back yard, grabbed a few angles, and put together anything that looked usable.

My Little Girl Gets Cloned

Thanks to the modern marvel known as cloning, we have decided to clone our only daughter. Sharon says the childbirth process was ok, but if we can find a way around itm she sure would appreciate it. So, here you go... my 3 daughters: Ash, Lee and Anne. :)
