Lightsaber Project - Belt Ring
The end cap and D-Ring attachment for the saber was quite simple.
All the parts shown were purchased from the local Ace Hardware store. You definately
want to use the "hex" style bolt to attach it, since this is what was used on the original
movie prop. I think it looks cool. :)
Another view of the end cap, so you can see how it all attaches. To attach I simply lined up
the D-Ring on the end-cap, and marked the holes with a Sharpie. I then used a centerpunch
to make a dent where the 2 holes were to be drilled. This made sure that the drill didn't
"wander" during the drilling process. Then I simply drilled the holes.
