Jedi Costume - Tabbard and Obi

Intro | Inner Tunic | Outer Tunic | Tabbard and Obi | Belt | Robe

From the back picture you can see that the obi is actually joined in the back. I installed a velcro strip to make the obi stay put on its own.

This costume drove me CrAzY the first few times I put it on. The tabbards would continually fall of my shoulders, where the tabbards meet the obi would get all bunched up and would look horrible. Overall, it would take me several minutes of adjusting just to get the costume to look normal. I would hit a few lightsaber poses for fun, and everything would pulled out of place again. AAAGGGHHHH!

In order to make the tabbard and obi easier to control while wearing the costume, I decided to attach the tabbard to the tunic and obi. It makes getting the costume on and off a little awkward as you can see from the picture. Trust me, once you get it on, you don't ever have to worry about it. :)

More details to come when I get time.
